Beginning Coding Using QBasic

Welcome to Beginning Programming with QBasic. QBasic has been used for years to teach programming basics because it has a low barrier to entry and simple syntax that is easy to learn. It’s the best language to start with. When you take this class, you’ll learn about the basics that are used in every programming language. A lot of languages have the same rules that apply to them, and QBasic is the best way to learn about them. As soon as you’ve learned QBasic, it’s easier to learn other languages.

Here, we’ll learn about variables and more. We’ll also learn about logic statements, loops, graphics, and a lot of other things, too. When you are done, you will have the skills you need to learn any programming language quickly. Fun: QBasic is a lot of fun to play around with and learn about.

This class is for people who don’t know how to write programs. Then again, it’s great for someone who wants to go over some basic things, or who wants to learn the language of QBasic itself. I made this course for homeschool students, traditional school computer labs, and hobbyists, but really, anyone who wants to learn how to code will be right at home in it.
