Learn how to create desktop applications with Python

Python is a popular programming language that is growing faster than any other in the industry. It is also one of the most widely used programming languages in the world.

It’s not a difficult language for novices to learn, and it’s not difficult for intermediate or expert programmers to progress, which is why the demand for this language has exploded in recent years.

Python is a scripting language, which means you’ll create code and execute it on the command line or terminal. Running code from the command line makes it more difficult for customers to adopt your apps; however, what if your application requires a nice user interface? This involves the use of a graphical user interface (GUI).

A GUI, in basic terms, is a desktop application that offers an interface for interacting with the script and enriching the user experience.

Yasser Abbass is my name. I’m a software developer, and I’ll be teaching you in this class.

I’ve been programming for almost 30 years, with the last decade dedicated to Python.

This course assumes you already know Python (data types, conditional logic, loops, collections, and so on), and it shows you how to make a professional Python GUI by building a contact management application.

The course is broken down into parts that will teach you all you need to know about developing Python desktop apps.

This course will take you on a trip to learn how to construct desktop apps, covering interface design, database model creation, and CRUD operations.
